Snapz & Toronto International Film Festival

A traditional branded Snapz GIF Booth was on TIFF Festival Street from September 10 until the 13th.  The booth was branded in honor of the Andy Warhol: Stars of the Silver Screen Exhibition. In case you didn’t know,  Warhol was a huge photo booth fan……

Users were able to send their GIFS and stills to email using uploading stations located near the booth

Snapz & Fashionopolis

 

 

Mpls/St Paul Magazine brought in a Snapz Pop Up Shoot for their 3rd annual Fashionopolis at Aria. Snapz partner and photographer, Greg Jansen, photographed guests against a white backdrop.  A Mpls/St Paul Magazine overlay was placed on the images which were projected slideshow style during the event. Images were instantly printed and users uploaded to social using one of two uploading stations

Snapz & Deluxe 100 Year Anniversary

The Saints Stadium in St Paul  was the place for 4000 employees and their families to celebrate the 100 anniversary of Minnesota mega company, Deluxe.

Fast Horse brought in two Snapz Photo Booth activations for the fun filled day.

An open air set up snapped photos of guests as the entered the stadium.   Users received a custom takeaway and were also able to upload images to social and send to email using stations located near the set up

Photographers Greg Jansen and Lucy Beni  snapped users at a photography pop up station to create custom baseball cards.  Users received a printout and were able to upload to social using uploading stations.

Images were flashed slideshow style on the stadium jumbotron for guests to enjoy throughout the event

Perhaps our “coolest” custom build to date. The Bratz Selfie Booth will be on a retail tour throughout N America. The machine is built on a smaller scale to accommodate children and has  dual exterior monitors to play Bratz commercial media.

Who but our very own Greg Jansen took the photo that “paused” the internet.  Katy Perry looking presidential posed next to Bill Clinton and George Bush at the Starkey Hearing Foundation Gala on July 26.  The image has been featured on Jimmy Fallon and has been published everywhere from Variety to The Daily Mail UK.  It’s currently on Katy Perry’s Instagram with over 600,000 likes.

Snapz & Dreaming Tree

What’s better than Dave Mathews?  The answer to that question is Dave Mathews and a glass of his new wine called Dreaming Tree. On July 21, Constellation Brands hired a traditional branded Snapz photo booth for the launch of the new wine at the Molson Amphitheater in Toronto. Guess whose band played at Molson that evening?

Snapz, Nordstrom, MIA Bike Night

Nordstrom brought Snapz in for a unique photography pop up shoot at the Minneapolis Institute of Art’s Bike Night. Professional photographer and Snapz partner,  Greg Jansen, photographed attendees and their bikes against a classic backdrop. A custom developed tin type filter was used to make the images look like they were taken 100 years ago.  Attendees received 5 x 7 printouts in a Nordstrom branded folder. Images uploaded to social and sent to email using uploading stations located near the shoot

A Snapz Instagram Printer Kiosk was set up at the GAP Queen Street for a store promo.  Users were able to upload images to #GapatNXNE and receive a 4 x 6 customized printout

Up All Night! Up in Lights!

Oh what a night! Northern Spark sponsor  Nordstrom asked Snapz to bring in an open air set up with green screen revolving backdrop. Users got about 5 seconds of fame when GIF images were projected on the side of 100 foot silos at Mill City Museum for a bill board effect.   Images and GIFS were able to be sent to email using two uploading stations located near the machine.

Norther Spark Festival -On the second Saturday of June, tens of thousands of people gather throughout Minneapolis to explore the city’s great cultural institutions, play in temporary installations in the streets, and enjoy experimental performances in green spaces and under bridges 9PM to 5:30AM.

Snapz & Arc’Teryx

An Arc’Teryx sponsored traditional Snapz Photo Booth was at the Get Outside Event at Calhoun Square on May 16th. Users were able to try on Arc’Teryx jackets and ski gear and pose for fun filled pics

The Printouts-  Snapz traditional booths can be programmed to print 2 2 x 6 strips (prints are cut as they exit the machine) for a true photo booth experience.  These images print in less than 9 seconds making the machines ideal for large crowd events.  No one wants to wait in a long line no matter how fun the activity

Get Outside Event

Calhoun Sqaure partnered with Arc’ Teryx,  Columbia, Northface, Midwest Mountaineering, and other surrounding retailers that specialize in the outdoors for a fun day outside. Donations/proceeds went towards Wilderness Inquiry.
